What is LOGICO? A Hands-On Learning System Kids Can Use Again and Again

If you're looking for a screen-free educational activity that encourages children to think, solve problems and learn independently, LOGICO is well worth discovering.

LOGICO learning games combine colourful hands-on activity boards with interchangeable learning cards covering skills such as maths, literacy, logical thinking, visual perception, sequencing, concentration and problem solving.

Rather than simply completing another worksheet, children actively move coloured buttons to select their answers and can then check their own work — making LOGICO an engaging resource for both home learning and educational settings.

Screen-Free

Hands-on learning without needing a tablet, computer or app.

Self-Checking

Children can check their own answers and learn from mistakes.

Reusable

One learning board can be used with many compatible activity card sets.

Learning Through Doing

Children physically move the coloured buttons as they work through each activity.

LEARNING THROUGH PLAY

What is LOGICO?

LOGICO is an educational learning system designed to make practising important skills more interactive.

Each LOGICO activity uses a learning board with coloured movable buttons and a compatible activity card. Children look at the questions or activities on the card and move the corresponding coloured button to the answer they believe is correct.

Once the activities are completed, the child can turn the card over to check whether the coloured buttons match the answer pattern.

This creates a simple cycle of:

1 Think

Look carefully at the activity and work out the answer.

2 Move

Move the matching coloured button into position.

3 Check

Turn the card over and independently check the answers.

WHICH LOGICO SHOULD I CHOOSE?

LOGICO Primo vs LOGICO Piccolo

There are two main LOGICO learning systems for younger children: LOGICO Primo and LOGICO Piccolo. Choosing the correct system is important because each uses its own compatible learning cards.

LOGICO PRIMO

LOGICO Primo

Approximately Ages 3–6

LOGICO Primo is designed for preschoolers, kindergarten children and early learners.

The Primo system uses a blue board with six coloured buttons, making it simple for younger children to understand and use.

LOGICO Primo can help practise:

  • Early numeracy and number recognition
  • Colours and shapes
  • Matching and sorting
  • Patterns and sequencing
  • Visual perception
  • Concentration
  • Logical thinking
  • Early school-readiness skills
LOGICO PICCOLO

LOGICO Piccolo

Approximately Ages 5–10

LOGICO Piccolo is the next level and is designed for children moving into more detailed primary-school learning activities.

Piccolo uses a green board with ten coloured buttons, allowing children to complete more detailed activities.

LOGICO Piccolo can help practise:

  • Maths and number strategies
  • Literacy skills
  • Problem solving
  • Patterns and sequences
  • Logical reasoning
  • Visual perception
  • Concentration and attention
  • Independent learning
!

Important: Primo and Piccolo use different cards

LOGICO Primo activity cards are designed for the blue Primo board, while LOGICO Piccolo cards are designed for the green Piccolo board. Always check which LOGICO system an activity card belongs to before purchasing.

WHY WE LIKE LOGICO

Why LOGICO is more than another worksheet

One of the things we like about LOGICO is that children are actively involved in the learning process.

They're not simply circling an answer or filling in a worksheet. They need to look, think, decide and physically move the buttons before checking their work.

This can make repetitive skill practice feel much more like a game.

Encourages independence

The self-checking system means children don't always need an adult beside them telling them whether an answer is correct.

Immediate feedback

Children can check their work straight away and try again if they've made a mistake.

Reusable learning

Instead of purchasing an entirely new learning toy each time, you can add compatible activity card sets to the same board.

Easy to take with you

LOGICO can be used at home, in classrooms or while travelling when children need something educational and screen-free to do.

HOME • SCHOOL • TRAVEL

Where can children use LOGICO?

LOGICO is flexible enough to be used in many different learning environments.

At Home

Use LOGICO for quiet-time activities, homework practice or extra reinforcement of a skill your child is currently learning.

In the Classroom

LOGICO can be useful for independent work, learning rotations, extension activities and additional skills practice.

While Travelling

The screen-free format can also provide children with an educational activity during road trips, holidays and other travel.

CHOOSING THE RIGHT RESOURCE

Who is LOGICO suitable for?

LOGICO may be a particularly good choice for children who enjoy learning by touching, moving, matching and doing.

It can also be useful when parents or educators want children to practise a skill independently without automatically turning to a screen.

Different LOGICO activity card packs focus on different skills and difficulty levels, so you can choose resources that are appropriate for the individual child rather than relying only on age.
