How many activities are on each card? LOGICO Primo uses a six-button board, allowing children to solve six matching problems on each activity card.
What age is Learn About Shapes for? This title is suitable from approximately 3 years of age and belongs to the LOGICO Primo Level 1 range for young learners.
What does it teach? Children practise recognising and matching 2D and 3D shapes, visual discrimination, spatial visualisation, matching everyday objects to geometric shapes, classifying shapes and identifying shapes within pictures.
Is this the same as Colour & Shape Puzzles? No. Learn About Shapes has a stronger geometry focus, including 2D and 3D shapes and spatial reasoning. Colour & Shape Puzzles focuses more strongly on colours, colour combinations, shapes and visual patterns.
Can these cards be used with the green Piccolo board? No. Primo and Piccolo use different boards and card formats. These cards require the blue six-button LOGICO Primo board.
How does my child check the answers? After completing the activity, remove the card and turn it over. The coloured answer pattern on the reverse can then be compared with the positions of the six buttons.
